    Normal BPs do get darker with age. I had one that was a stunning orange/gold color when he was a hatchling; now he is just like any old ball you'd see. I always say, nothing can pe proven to be a morph unless you prove it out by breeding, and the offspring grow up to look like the parents! (unless of course, it is baldly obvious like, say, an albino.)

    I totally agree Gin. You can never be sure until you try to breed it. Well sad thing is we havent even sexed it, as we never thought about breeding it. The pet store didnt want to probe as to avoid injuring the ball, so we gonna take it to a vet to find out for sure.

    It looks like a Hypermelanistic.

    That is an unproven trait. It is when the snake produces more melanin. So this is the oppisite of a Hypo (not hyper) melanistic
