There is no dominating issues. Right now the female is shedding and wants her space to the male simply doesnt bother her unless its ok. I dont care if one has had 1 2 3 or 345 years. None of us are snakes, or none of us is the snakes in my enclosure. This leaves me to be the boss (and i love to be). So thank you on your much asked for opinion.

It's always good to listen to advice, and it doesn't mean you have to take it. This is a very friendly forum and we're not trying to slam you or anything. We just wanted to raise the topic in case you were unaware. If that works fine for you and your snakes then that's fine. We just stated what most breeders and those that keep large numbers of snakes do.

You seem to be very defensive for someone who came here asking for advice. You seem convinced that you have everything under control, so good luck with that.

IF you are willing to have an open mind, you might want to check out this thread regarding housing BP's together, then care for your snakes how you choose:

Thats what i am confused about to, I wrote this thread asking advice about Shedding not housing snakes together. Look at my first post. I could post sites too you know, there are plenty that say you could do it with no problems. so its best if we stop flaming b/c i will win and your right its a friendly forum here. I've spent 3 months reading about ball pythons every day. The only reason why i ask is that my snake has never shedded before.

Alright let's just get back to the shedding issue then. Some snakes just have issues shedding. If it all comes off then there's no problem. I you have retained shed then you have a problem. Get a shoebox size sterilite and fill it with luke warm water. Put snake inside and close up box. Put the entire thing back onto the warm side enclosure (make sure your temps are right!!). Leave 1 hour and then gently wipe off any shed. Be extra gentle around the eyes and head. As for your temperatures, you need to raise them up. UTH's, radiant heat panel, heat lamps .... whatever it takes to get them up. Them make sure to use a thermostat to keep them stable. So there you go. I hope that helps.

I don't believe that I flamed you, so you can relax.

With all due respect, if you spent 3 months reading about ball pythons every day, you should know that your temps are incorrect and that the warm side should stay constant at 92-94 degrees and cool side constant at 82-84 degrees.

Please post the links! I would love to read proof that ball pythons do much better when kept in the same enclosure :)
