    What's your humidity? Wanda sometimes 'whistles' at the end of her shed cycle as the viv has been sat at 70% for a week or so.

    Your scale can be pretty much any kitchen scale. There are plenty on amazon, or I got mine from Walmart for under $20.

    As for the whistling, did she shed recently?
