Why does my ball python do this?

What's your humidity? Wanda sometimes 'whistles' at the end of her shed cycle as the viv has been sat at 70% for a week or so.

i use plastic bins or their hide to hold them and weigh that way. my scale is only about 10 or twelve inches in length x width, much smaller than my oldest beep and it gets the job done.

Your scale can be pretty much any kitchen scale. There are plenty on amazon, or I got mine from Walmart for under $20.

As for the whistling, did she shed recently?

Yes, she shed maybe 2 weeks ago
