    Ok, that is a thermometer, not a thermostat.

    ThermoMETER simply measures temps.
    ThermoSTAT regulates heat and prevents serious burns or worse to your animal.

    You 100% NEED to be running ANY and ALL heating equipment on thermostats.

    You are currently risking dangerous heat spikes to your snake which can result in serious burns or even fatality.
    PLEASE do some homework and get the proper equipment
