    they are really fun. really personable too if they have been handled or if you work with them a little. and the babies are way too cute and squeaky. :)

    no, but females lay anywhere from 2-8 clutches or so per year, so you get a lot of babies from each female. they only have to mate once and they are set for the season. :) generally you put a male in with your females early in the year--anywhere from january on really--and once they have bred you remove the male. some people leave the male in with the females year round because the females can only lay so many eggs anyhow, but i kinda think it best to let him and them have a break and let the females focus on eating and staying fat for egg laying.

    So how far apart are those clutches laid? Very interesting for sure. And they lay about 1-3 eggs per clutch?

    they lay 2 eggs per clutch, sometimes just 1 egg if is their very first clutch or two. they lay approximately once every 3 weeks. they are really quite prolific as far as geckos go--i started with 1.3 earlier this year and i now have about 15 babies plus another 10+ eggs incubating.
