Well when I got home from work I decided to try the temp gun before I changed anything and it gave me 95 degrees in the egg box. So now I got herpstat 89, weather station 92 and temp gun 95  This is frustrating not knowing what is accurate. I guess the safest bet is to just go lower, consistent temps is what's most important right? Because whatever the actual temp is, none of my readings fluctuated even 1 degree the whole two days I've had it running so I guess that's good at least. I set the herpstat to 87.5 for now. I'll keep an eye on it and see how that does. The exact temp I'm shooting for in the egg box is 88 right? And a couple degrees lower is ok but will take longer to incubate? I'm impatient as it is lol but I guess better safe than sorry.

Just thought I'd follow up with an update. The herpstat is now set at 87.5 with probe in the incubator and now the weather station is reading 88-89 degrees and 99% humidity with the wireless sensor in the actual egg box. It seems to be holding very steady. The weather station is flickering 88-89 which I think means its somewhere in-between because it doesn't read .0 but the herpstat does and the only fluctuation it's reading is between 87.5-87.6 which I would say is pretty darn consistent. I think I should be good to go. Thanks again for the help :)
