Daniel Solis in California. I messaged him some pictures and told him where I purchased, he said he sold around 20 snakes to them at that time and he's either (drum roll please) super mojave pastel, or super mojave hypo. What do you think the chances are of the yellow fading? Ps, good eye!!!

sorry, but i doubt that it will fade. in my experience, Pastel on black or a dark background will alotta time fade. but Pastel on a light (white) background will usually stay or intensify. i think the best u can hope for is that it stays the way it is and not get any more yellow.

Ok ready for some irony? If it is pastel and it is a good pastel it will most likely not fade. In any case if it is a pastel I don't think it will ever be a pure white. Super Mojaves are not pure white but they are not yellow either. If you were after a breeder this is a great animal. Even bred to a normal it would produce 100% mojaves with 50% being pastaves.

If it is hypo, it will fade. I am not really the guy to comment on hypo. I have never produced any. I was originally going to say no way it is hypo until I took a look at the hypos here. The baby pics were surprising at least to me.

In all cases this will never be a true white snake. The consistently whitest snake produced is a Lesser/Mojave or a Lesser/Lesser. Lesser/Lesser tend to have eye problems so I avoid that combo.

in addition, the whitest of the whites are all white Pieds like White Wedding Spieds and Lesser Pieds.

    Edit: also a Cherry Bomb.

From that pic it looks more like a Super Mojave Pastel which would explain the yellow.

    Where did you get it?

    I 100% agree with this ^^^

The head is too dirty to be a Lesser X Mojave cross IMO, those are very clean.

So to answer the question if it is a Pastel Super Mojave the yellow tint is here to stay so the faint grayish tint on the head.

Just read the additional and I can tell you there is no Hypo, too dirty for that.
