Also if all the escapes are because of forgetfulness, you might want to consider seeing if you can get something like a door alarm with a delay so forgetting won't really be much of an option.

He likes to chill on that branch, he is there right now too.
Theres a little fountain with water also and he usually sleels under a lower piece of wood on the tank floor.

After we got the snake I read a lot about ball pythons, really wanted him to be good and healthy.
The umidity is at about 60% 70 , he did shed nicely. The thermomether shows 26 n half degrees in the cold side and its warmer under the light where he chills on branch

Had to cover top vent because it was too airy and breezy and the humidity didnt remain high enough

    Welcome to forum Snek...

I hope I am seeing that photo wrong, but if that heat bulb is INSIDE your cage, get it out immediately!

Your snake can get some serious burns from that. The only way for that bulb, or ANY bulb sans LED to be in your enclosure is if it is itself in a cage that your snake can not breech.

    I apologize if I am mistaken. :)

Yes, PLEASE get that bulb out of the enclosure if it is inside. That bulb could cause some serious burns to your snake.

How are you heating besides the bulb? Are your heat sources regulated by a thermostat?

How and where are you checking your temps?
