    Yep our two b.p.'s are like your Rex. Excellent, aggressive feeders but very accepting of handling otherwise.....heck I've never even heard a hiss so I've no clue what it would sound like.

    Having said that I'm completely sure that if I got in the way at feeding time they'd both "remind" me, especially the 6 month old. Gotta love my hemostats!

    We had a great experience last night. We allowed friends of two of our kids to stand quietly and watch Baby eat her prey. It was so amazing to see their faces....first a bit of fear or revulsion...then absolute amazment and fascination! They expressed some disgust at pre-killed prey till I reminded them that the dinner they just ate earlier was in fact a pre-killed prey for them. Kids tend to forget that pork doesn't just come from the Wal-Mart meat section LOL.

    I did use you as an example tho Ken. Told them that the easy going Baby would be quite capable of striking at me should I interfere in her feeding so they needed to respect her instincts. Very very cool to watch these young teenagers go way past their fear with just a little exposure to a captive snake.
