    @ Rock. I only feed f/t unless an animal goes for months without eating. I'll sometimes offer a small live feeder in that case. We're not there yet with this girl but I did consider it. ;)

    Have you tried scenting the rat by rubbing a mouse on it? That might help with transition.

    I've also heard of people having success by putting the snake and rat together in a bag for a while, if you search online there are threads with various tips & tricks.
