I'd be a bit worried about humidity with multiple heat sources, even with a CHE. If humidity plummets, you can cover the top with aluminum foil. A lot of heat escapes from glass tanks. I see another poster put aluminum wrapped cardboard on the ends. This would help keep heat in, or foam core board around 2-3 sides. Where are you measuring temp, and with what?
