I was starting to think he'd had a rough start with the full-body stuck shed he got almost immediately after I acquired him and the fact that the breeder mixed the photos of the male and female up, so this isn't the snake I actually ordered. (I fell in love with him as soon as I got him out the box though, so couldn't bring myself to exchange).

Wish I'd given him the bigger ones to start with. :( Anything I need to watch for/do other than continue with the bigger prey every 5 days?

So long you are feeding a prey that is the same size than it's girth, he will catch back up, now it does not mean bowel movement will be on schedule because they are very efficient but they will occur, usually after a shed.

Keep that feeding regimen until he is 500 grams.

My little guy has fed every week (10-15% body weight rule), and saves up a big one every 3-4 weeks. That isn't too unusual, though he does pass urates pretty regularly 1-2 times per week.

Mine didn't go for the first month of owning, at least. I was a big concerned because he ate a LOT, but then he had like a huge poo and then another one the next day, haha. They just digest so slowly, and sometimes I guess it really takes time.
