    i used the a sterilte 90 qt(35"x16" X12") when I had just one bp. here is a pic:

    They are a little bigger than a 30 gallon tank and work just fine.

    'Ya know, I've thought about doing this set up if and when I add more BP's. How do you heat them? I assume you are using an UTH? Is that the only heat source? And also, like the other poster asked, any problems with melting the plastic? What about lighting, or is it just not necessary?

    In that setup, I used an 1 foot strip of 11" flexwatt run with a Ranco thermostat. That supplied the main heat. The heat lamps were only used to warm the closet up to about 75 deg. because my roommate kept the apt. at 60 deg. all the time. The plastic in rubbermaid has a high melting point....so melting is not a concern.
