Thanks everyone, although I have another question:
I want to disinfect the top of the cage, and rip up the plastic lining on the floor to disinfect as well. I have ordered more chlorhexidine, but in the meantime, what can I use? It has to be completely safe and ok to use on wood as it would be used while the animal is in the enclosure
