retro gaming pokemon for gbc/gba p.s. I've never played go nor shall i !!!!!
Lol I have considered most options but I love in a house (rent) that is a three family unit and space is limited. Once we buy a house, I would consider getting a freezer and stockpiling frozen yum yums for the snakes lol.
You lost me with pokemon reference lol

I gas them as a way to kill them right before I put them in the snake's enclosures on feed day. I'm not doing it for storage purposes.

They get gassed first because it humane or cervical dislocation is another humane way. May not be the cheapest but it's the most humane ways. Of course you could just throw them in a circle and smack their head on a table or whatnot but if you don't do it just right it then becomes inhumane plus you could have a bloody mess.

I do it this way because like I mentioned earlier performing a cervical dislocation can be trickier on larger rats and I got bit. I can also just drop the dead rats in the cage without worrying about a rat biting my snakes. Also, dead rats are a lot easier to retrieve out of a cage if they don't get eaten.

Can anyone provide more specifics on the hose/valve used to attach to this tank?

Sorry, should have elaborated on that. Do a Google search for "coiled remote with quick disconnect". There are a bunch all in different price ranges. I believe mine in store was around twenty bucks and it works fine. Hope that helps
