I honestly think the snake probably inhaled some of the water and was doing their best to "cough" it back up. Since snakes don't have a diaphragm, this can sometimes looks like they're trying to throw up and can sound really awful. The popping noises are what makes me think it was a choking issue more than a regurge issue.

If it were my snake I'd probably wait and see if they exhibit other signs of a RI, it all seems very coincidental that the snake drank a bunch of water before this happened. There would usually be more signs and they wouldn't onset so suddenly. However, inhaling anything that's not meant to be inhaled can create an environment for bacterial growth, so like I said, monitor your animal. Not saying it's a bad idea to take it to a vet immediately but I don't think it would result in much.

Update: Thanks guys! took her to the vet and everything was fine, the doctor said that she probably just drank too much water at once and was handled too much earlier in the day and it just came back up also some tank problems that we've been having could have caused that. There where no signs of RI but theres still the possibility so we are just going to monitor her for a bit since we dont want her taking antibiotics if she doesnt need them. BUt thank you guys so much really calmed my nerves reading all of the responses. :):):):):):):):)

Great news! I'm so happy you got the best possible outcome for your noodle.
Thank you for taking the time to form a relationship with a herp vet in your area - it'll always save your noodle!:P
