It's definitely a workout lol my big girl is pretty active sometimes she decides she don't want to go back in her enclosure and it can be a hassle xD my 9ft albino male is pretty chill and likes to be on my shoulders, he's pretty good at going back to his enclosure though lol

Depends on the snake. All of my snakes are really easy to handle. They range from almost 5' to 7'. My 7' BCI, Rosey I just reach in, drag her out and sling over my shoulder. I would trust her with kids. I really don't think you could get her to bite you unless you really hurt her. My SD retic is only 9 months old but he's just over 5' and he handles fine. He does want to go go go all the time though but he is mellow. My BP girl is just about 5' and she is actually like my retic as once you get her out and she knows she's on me, she gets really active and inquisitive. Her and my retic are the two you got to watch when you let them out to roam as they head for the floor and off and running around they go. The boas tend to find stuff to climb that they are too big for and knock stuff over. Rosey my 7' girl managed to climb a torchier lamp and tip it over lol. Thankfully she wasn't hurt but she bent the lamp. The bulb didn't break though. I just heard the crash and came over to see her still wrapped around the lamp on the floor and she just looked up at me and flicked her tongue lol. She's like a giant kid, you gotta watch her or she knocks stuff off tables and dressers lol.

It's not a big deal. Especially if you have owned and handled the snake from juvenile size. You sort of grow into the snakes size with them. Now if you are used to small and go instant huge, it will take some getting used to.

That's so true !!
I bought all mine as hatchlings or youngsters apart from my dream snake - the Snow Boa .. He came to me as an immensely powerful 6 footer ( nearer 7' now ) and he was so much bigger , heavier and STRONGER than any of my others .
After a settling in period , It took me a few weeks of hesitant handling before I grew accustomed to his ways . Now I just reach in and lift him out , it's a breeze .

I think what freaks people out the most is how strong they are. They are solid muscle. They can be intimidating. lol But with handling and trust building you can end up with a puppy dog tame snake. You just have to be careful when in feeding mode. That's goes for most snakes really.
