    Haha, not only that, but I've had Ball Pythons for around 12 years !! I don't do rescue anymore, but when I did, I had Imports and some that needed oral meds, shots, medical care, assist feedings. I even had a "pinky gun" back then (don't ask)

    Still never got bit by a BP.

    I think the closest I have come is when I removed that huge Rescue female (4500 gr) from her eggs. I never knew they could hiss THAT loud and long !!! ;)

    My 2 GTP's never bit me (or even struck at me)

    My Borneo Shorttail never bit me either, and he had to go through some intense and painful medical care at around 3 years old (RIP beloved Conan)

    The Redtail made up for all that, trust me, HAHA.

    I'm thinking maybe your snake was just having a moody kinda day. Like MrSully said, they have their days too. You'll get used to being able to read their body language and know when they sometimes just wanna be left alone. That's one great thing about having more than one snake. When one is in shed, or just ate, or is grumpy, I can always hang out with another one :snake::)
