I'm a chemist and I don't trust tap water one bit, there's a lot of people that drink nasty poison tap water and don't even know it. When I was in Korea at one point the water came out of the faucets in the sink as black as tar, and a few hours drive down south at my mother in laws she lives on the end of the line from the water company and it gets so bad that if I drink it I get sick every time, they will even give them free water to flush out the lines. Water from the tap can change over night even if you tested it for everything. I only drink bottled water that has been distilled with added minerals so I know for sure it's pure balanced water. However, I have so many animals I probably feed them over 100 gallons of water per day, there's no way I could feed them all bottled water LOL. My nine cows drink the most. And my snakes and rats get tap water LOL.

I use tap, though sometimes I'll fill a bottle from the tap and take it with me to fill the bowls. That still counts as tap though ^_^

I age my tap water. My water has higher amounts of chlorine in it and it is like drinking out of a pool and can burn your eyes in the shower. I can't in good conscience give it to any animal straight out of the tap
