Tape has been used over the years and because so many accidents ensued we even had to make an official warning post about it that is stickied https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...ALL-caresheets!

Hide can be made of simple plastic bowls all the way to cat litter pan and those will be SAFE

Here's mine and for now they are perfect just put the hole to get in on the small side. They like to crawl under the divider and lay in the fully enclosed side :) took them both a minute to figure out it was there but as soon as they did that's all they wanna do is lay in that side. This picture though she is coiled in the big side and sticking her head out just enough to look out I think it's cute she does it all the time when I'm cleaning or changing water lol :))

I was just going to post something related, if no one mind I use this thread?

Yesterday I installed a led strip in my BP viv. obviously it is sticky strip, very low profile cold light, and change one of the bulbs to just a ceramic heat emitter. So after all I've read not to use tape, I figured out all by myself it was a bad idea... lol

Maybe I could leave it on with silicon in the border so it won't come out? What do you thing guys/gals?

Here is a pic of how it looks like.

I've used similar LED strips but I stuck them in place using a hot-glue gun .... Maybe you could leave it in place but go all along with a glue-gun so there is no way the sticky strip could ever come unstuck ( by the snake rubbing on it ???
That's probably what you meant isn't it :)

    Just a thought ??!!

Best thing bro is to order some cheap Black ones from Reptile Basics.. I paid $4.99 each for my Mediums. They are GREAT and easy to clean and heavy duty buy not heavy dangerous like things at Petsmart. Heres a link.
