    I have my t-stat set at 96 which gives me a surface hot spot of 90-92. I plan to put my Bredli in a 4x2 or 6x2 with a shelf. I don't think I'll go higher than 2ft vertically. He's not very active in terms of roaming his enclosure and as they get older and heavier they tend to spend less time 'in the trees'. Like most of my carpets he's either perched and waiting for food, laying out in the open, or hiding after a meal. Out of my 5 carpets only my coastal is really active in terms of moving about the enclosure and that's usually when he's hungry.

    Thanks, good info. Makes sense about the ledges. All of this will be completely new to me so better to keep my options open.
