    One of the main reasons ball pythons even fast in the first place is because of overfeeding. I've never had a ball python go on a fast longer than a month since I started feeding every other week, or even sometimes three. Before that they'd sometimes fast for months at a time. And even with a 2-3 week schedule I have a 5 foot, 2000 gram, 3 year old male

    This is another members (Sauzo) pvc jungle gym he made - I'm building one for each of my enclosures as well to help them get a little exercise because the wood I bought at the pet store just kept growing mold. PVC doesn't mold and I can tailor it to my design.

    I don't think that snake looks that bad at all. I think as a community we are so used to seeing pics of uber fat snakes that anything that doesn't look fat is considered underfed or underweight. As far as the weight loss, when she starts eating again she will be back where she needs to be.
