Check under, behind and even up and inside the workings of the appliance. I was recently at a fish/reptile shop near me and one of his BPs escaped over night. He had gotten into the back of the freezer unit and the shop owner had to pull the unit apart and pull the angry snake out. They were both fine after a bit, but both were stressed due to the whole adventure. Be careful to move furniture/appliances slowly so you don't injure the snake. Good luck!!!

Thanks for the tips everyone... I do feed f/t and today is feeding day so Im thinking I may turn a heating pad on low with a hide over it and some food... see if I can persuade him to come out of hiding. My husband looked inside the coils and back of our fridge and oven but no snake that we could see. If one of my dogs had gotten to him I would assume there would be blood somewhere in my carpets but we haven't found anything. Plus whenever I've had the snakes out, the dogs are more afraid of them than the snakes are of the dogs hah.

my boy has escaped twice: first time i found him under my fridge about 10ft from his tank (studio apartment wooo), the second time he managed to stuff himself in a box of shoes that was in my closet. i've come to find they're never that far from their enclosure. check literally everything, even in places where you think "there's no way" check anyway. good luck!

I was going to suggest the same thing. I lost a retic twice first time he was under the fridge the second time he was in the linen closet for two weeks. I had gone through the linen closet piece by piece and didn't find him and then one day I came home from work and there he was in the middle of the hallway.

Day 3 with no signs of my banana bp. We've looked under/in the fridge, oven, all out couches multiple times a day... I've searched in shoes and closets, my children's dressers, my dressers, linen closet, under the hot water tank, by the furnace and so far nothing. I set up a warm spot with a hide last night but it didn't lure him out either.

They can squeeze into some mighty tight spaces. I'm sure he is holed up somewhere not thinking twice about it. If it was me, I would go room to room and scent with a rat and watch closely for him to come looking for it.

So my father-in-law is in HVAC and upon hearing the snake is still missing offered to come over tonight and explore our duct work so we can rule out the vents as his hiding spot. Fingers crossed he shows up soon

Did he find him? Ginger got herself wrapped around the plumbing pipes in the basement of our new house.

Look for places that are warm. Also, put out a few hides safely with heaters blowing on them.....your guy might turn up inside a warm hide.

No sign of him in the duct work. Ya I've been checking the pipes, hot water heater, appliances, etc every day. No sign of any movement via the flower method either. And all my hot spots (heating pads with hides on them) have gone untouched. I bought a live mouse yesterday and set him up last night so I'm hoping the smell will draw him out eventually.
