I joined the same club a few months ago. It is what you make it... and it's better than the alternative....
    Happy Birthday.

    I Am Officially Old
Bet I'm one of the oldest around these parts at 59 in a few weeks .

Still lift weights every day , jog a few times a week , just back from a 5 mile jog actually . I ran a half marathon ( 13 miles ) on New Year's Day just to test myself . I'm fitter and stronger than I've ever been .
Still feel like a teenager which is kinda odd given that I'm nearly 60 but maybe that's just a bloke thing !?!

Anyways if anyone wants to completely change the life / lifestyle for the better just look up the 16/8 fasting regime . I've been doing the 20/4 version since August , lost 28 lbs in about 20 weeks and I eat a lot but eat well ..... the secret is to cut out the stodgy bread stuff but to eat your whole days food in a small window of time . I eat over 2000 calories each day but between 5pm and 9pm ( a four hour window ) .

    Continued ....

Crazily by cutting out your breakfast your energy levels increase throughout the morning then if you move up a level and get used to not having lunch/ dinner as well - your energy levels actually increase throughout the day , you don't have mood swings , you get more optimistic , sleep better at night . etcetec .... and lose weight .

You're basically keeping your insulin levels stable .
