I had not buried him, however i asked my boyfriend to bury him. My boyfriend decided not to and kept the body for when i had calmed down. After about an hour of calming down we took the body to get a necropsy

I am a mechanic and breeder as well, my child knows nothing about either because he is not interested.. I got a sick snake from the start, and now that I know that I know I did nothing wrong with him. He was a very happy and curious snake. I never saw him stressed out at all. When friends held him ig would be for a few minutes at the least. I also don't need an account on here to have a ball python, I just find the fact that you stated that so ridiculous. No one said you needed an account here though this is without a question one of the greatest sources of information in the world with some of the most knowledgeable you can find in one group. I know you don't agree with tape, but with moisture and tape that isn't sticky anymore, many breeders take the eye caps off. They will also warn you that it is a last resort. Eye caps can become infected so i took a drastic measure to remove them since he had had them on for a few weeks.A single stuck shed is nothing to stress your animal over or risk its health. Soaking a ball python in warm water CAN help it move its bowels so I really don't understand. Also, I did mist the cage up to 70% humidity during his shed.

We all learn every day and may also not like some of the information given to us but that's life and we all have to deal with it.
You asked a question that could only be hands on answered and members her did the only thing they could do. Try to help with guess work.
I am kind of interested how they came up with the IBD so quickly but it wont change anything.

I'd be interested in seeing the paperwork on the IBD diagnosis. It's not confirmed as often as it's tossed about and the symptoms described aren't necessarily 100% in line with the disease.

But you specifically stated you buried the body. You also use the past tense when speaking brining the reader under the assumption that the snake did not die today. Then you suddenly go back (after getting angry about problems pointed out with your care) and say you took him to the vet within an hour of his death. That event presumably would have happened before you wrote the post, so we are back at square one. Not saying it was not IBD. I am saying that it is unlikely in the situation that you have laid out.

I posted that post right after I found him dead. Also, I'm not angry! It's my first time having a ball and I understand that I can make mistakes. The snake died last night, and after an hour of accepting his death we brought him to the vet. They did many different kinds of tests which involved us being there for the whole night. Sorry if I worded wrong. I feel as though I have upset many people on here which makes me feel guilty and scared to come back. I'm happy you all care about him and want to help me understand. You can't tell a persons feelings through a screen!

In that case it ought to be pretty easy to provide the paperwork that shows his cause of death.

You have no idea how much it upsets me that you are trying to prove me wrong. How do I get the picture onto my computer of the paperwork?

Not trying to prove you wrong. In fact if you have the paperwork it would prove you right.
