Snake reccomendations?

Might look into a Hogg Island Boa, though they don't get much bigger than a ball.

Boas and smaller Carpets like Irian Jaya and Jungles fit your criteria.

Among my snakes the Boas are more laid back.

If I could just pick one species, definitely dumeril's boa... They're big enough, muscular, but the most docile and the laziest snake. They just kind of lay there when you take them out (unless something stresses/scares them... which is also unlikely).

I could put flowers on her head for photos and stack jewelry on her, or put a mini scarf around her neck (after picking up her head and putting it back down), and she doesn't move an inch. Maybe a couple millimeters. LOL

We have 2 bci's and one coastal carpet. They all have great temperament and are not head shy. Never seen any signs of aggression from either(the coastal was already a year and a half old when we got her so no experience with hatchlings) but they all have very entertaining feeding responses, boas hit pretty hard. The boas are definitely more laid back and much more heavy bodied. The carpet python is more fun to handle and more active in her enclosure. She is also more slender.

Woma python. Dont get too big, great feeding response, they are active and tolerant of handling, very forgiving as far as husbandry is concerned, they won't break the bank yet you don't see them everywhere. Oh and they look pretty cool too.

My friend has a Florida King Snake and he is an absolute beauty. He's 6 feet long and such a gentle giant :P
