Personally I think the best place to ask the breeding questions is either the FB page Retic nation or Dwarf and super dwarf retic classifieds or super dwarf and dwarf retic keepers and breeders. Those 3 pages, the people there should have definitive answers for you on the pair you are trying to breed.

Well both snakes are still pretty young and I still have a couple years before I pair them up so plenty of time to get info! I may get another super dwarf female at some point, good to know the breeders out there. I'm considering a large rack system with slide out tubs for the big snakes, right now they are both in 80 series ARS tubs.

Well it's been a few more days and it's feeding day again (I feed twice a week). I was getting over run with mice so I've been feeding mice even though they are a bit small for some of my snakes. I offered one to this SD retic and he ate it! He just hangs out in the back of the ARS-80 series tub. It has a window on the front so I can see if he is pacing or not, it seems he is very comfortable in this tub. Tomorrow I usually go through and spray down the substrate with water and change out their drinking water. Other than that I'm leaving him alone. He seems like he could handle a small rat instead of a mouse but I didn't have any his size on hand, I have some small ones that should be big enough next week. I also have several rats that just had babies so pretty soon I'll be over run with rats LOL. And it's perfect timing because I'm actually getting low on feeder mice.

Lol no wonder he's so pissed off. Its like he's in snake jail!! You rack and tub guys!! Get some real cages and let the snakes see the outside and come out and hang out and interact!! J/K, kind of. I understand the need for space for breeders but personally for just pets or even very small breeding setups, I still think the snake should have the enrichment of being to see whats going on and interacting outside for some mental stimulation. I might be wrong but that's just how I feel. Not directing this at you ccharkdwick, just make a generalization and I'm sure the rack and tub people will rip me on it hahaha.
