There was an ad here for a Meat goat that made me giggle.

"Meat goat for sale- 100$

100#, 3 year old wether. Will NOT go as a pet to anyone with goats or dogs. He has killed one of my does. He also is hell bent on not letting any other goat in any of the goat houses. He's NOT like any other goat I've had. This one is a bad cookie. But he'll make a good cookie in the oven."

That is crude, but funny.

the over the top sales ad are funny (and sad) and sometimes the keepers who troll CL for "snake food" actually hurts the community (and then turn around and mock the forum/other keepers).

I agree. There are a lot of owners who don't know what they're doing. I'm getting to the point where I consider most Craigslist snakes rescues, unless they come from a breeder.

Yep. Orange County is a bit of a drive, but its not too far.

I read one once that these people purchased a captive bred bull snake and it was friendly at first but then began "sizing them up" after they moved its cage to their bedroom and become vicious [emoji849] I felt bad for the poor snake, it was a really pretty morph too.
