Hi mate could be a silly question but are you defrosting the rat and how are you defrosting it if you are she is probably a bit stressed from the move but there is nothing to worry about at all at the moment rat pups are definitely too small for a 2 1/2 yer old ball python unless you have got your wires crossed with the name of the rats age if you post pics up of your ball python and it's food when you get home from work people will tell you more confidently if it's the right meal your feeding her. By saying defrosting I mean thawed for the correct terminology

Is there any way I can post pictures of everything by uploading them from my smart phone?
Apparently I'm not so tech savvy lol

I think you have to upload them to a photo hosting site first..and then upload from there

Lord have mercy I hope you all are night owls like me, I'll learn how to use a photo hosting site as soon as I get home lol.
Now I'm using Aspen bedding, not alpine. Should I mix in some eco-earth rainforest floor bedding along with the Aspen, or something like repti-bark?

While you figure it out, if you would like you can text me a few pictures and I will upload them to my photo hosting site and then post them into this thread for you :)
I can private message you my telephone number.

    Again, only if you'd like...

Honestly, I would NOT mix aspen with a humidity holding substrate. Aspen tends to mold rather quickly and then you have a mess on your hand. Hard to see the mold when its all mixed up, too.

Better to just change. For now, you CAN mist the aspen some every day...just don't drench it. It will dry out before growing mold..

You will get there, no worries ;)

Its great you care so much, you have a lucky snake !!!

Hoping this works! I hate not having a computer.

Once I figure out how to get all these photos uploaded, I'll upload more of her, her terrarium, etc.

    Oh...what a BEAUTY !!!!

Can you make a picture with something that shows the size a little better? Like next to a soda can or something, for reference.
But I think thats a pretty good sized snake.

Could be thicker, but definitely not skinny at all, and just looks healthy. Very pretty !!

Looks like my Mojave bp :) to me yours looks a little on the thin side but nothing to worry about. It also looks like it should be eating small-medium rats, pups sound too small for a snake that size.

I'm having the worst time getting photos to upload lol.
It's times like these that I miss having a desktop or laptop.

Also the breeder told me she was a Mojave morph?
