    I understand.

I tried a humid hide many years ago but my snake never used it. I tried many other ideas and finally had the offer simple idea of just adding moist moss to the hides. That turned out to be a winner.

Well I've had a quick read through these posts and there's a lot of great advice ... that said ..... Just one thing worth trying that works everytime for mine when needed is to soak a ROUGH textured towel in warm water ( just not cold ) then wrap it around the snake and let it continually 'slither' through the towel , when the head pops our cover it again and let it carry on slithering as long as you can ... THE important part though is to apply very GENTLE pressure on the snake . This method obviously works best after a soak but it works extremely well at any time for a snake with a stubborn shed.

Brand new problem I think he had something like a cyst pop on his head atleast that's what I think but theirs something that can just be some shed wrinkled up but he has a small bump on his head with a white center that looks like the shed I mentioned and when I touched it it clearly hurt him as he pulled away and shook his head back and fourth and why I know it's not shed is because I made sure last time he was stuck to start at the top and work my way down when peeling skin of slowly if I feel a tug I let go and don't try but I mainly only do the head due to eye caps and what not but I have never seen this and am a little worried

It looks like he rubbed it off... I'm not 100% certain by any means but it looks very similar like he had rubbed that spot too much. You can kind if see some stuck shed next to it.

Don't soak him unless he actually has a bad stuck shed on, soaking during the shed cycle is completely counterproductive and will lead to bad sheds. Were you soaking and using the shed aids from the start or only after he had issues? My ball pythons have a water bowl and that's it in their cages, I don't mist, I don't soak the substrate, no shedding aid or moist hides and they shed great. That it's so thick is odd though, like something else entirely is going on? How often is he shedding?
