I love that your first project is a crystal one the crystal ball is like one of my all time favorites and I'm hoping to make crystal bumblebees next year

Thanks! Fingers are crossed for some little Crystal Lessers or BELs.

She's started her shed cycle. Not sure if that means we missed her ovulation or what.

So I'm a little confused now. She shed and is now just staying curled up on the hot spot. I never really saw an ovulation so I'm not sure if this is a pre-lay shed or if she is still building and just had a normal shed or what.

    Here's how she looks now:

So 6 months later and we finally have eggs! Both lessers laid within a week of each other and each had 6 healthy looking eggs. Now we're crossing out fingers for good odds on some BELs and Crystal Lessers! Here come some pics (including the new incubator!)https://ball-pythons.net/forums/cach...IMG_5847-M.jpghttps://ball-pythons.net/forums/cach...IMG_5817-M.jpghttps://ball-pythons.net/forums/cach...MG_5843-X2.jpghttps://ball-pythons.net/forums/cach...MG_5855-X2.jpg

They're by Vivarium Electronics. I got them from Reptile Basics.

Well, the first clutch has pipped and all of them are awake with their little heads up! It's hard to tell, but it looks like 3 Mojave, 1 Special, 1 Lesser Crystal, and 1 Mojave Lesser BEL. I know the cuts are ugly, but it was my first time. The second clutch is at day 54 and should be pipping soon!

So here are our final two clutches all hatched out. We didn't hit the best odds for what should have been 50% BEL/Crystal Lessers. Final tally was 2 BELs, 1 Crystal Lesser, 5 Specials, and 4 Mojaves. We're happy to get a female BEL to replace the late Wintre who we lost last year and we will be keeping the female Crystal Lesser as well. We're very pleased that all the babies came out appearing healthy and all weighing around 75 grams each. Here are our final clutch pics:

We will be selling all the single gene snakes either online or through our friend's reptile shop.
