BTW - Christie isn't stressing over cresties because she knows she's getting a baby as soon as I have a successful clutch I can actually part with! :P :D

:shh: It's really my awesome willpower!! ;) :P :imslow: Yeah, it's just a matter of time for me. :D It lets me slowly allow the fishies to die off and then I can use that cage. Or even Lily's when I finally get a rack.

wendy, you can keep gargoyles and cresteds together once they are grown--baby gargoyles like to bite off the tails of their cagemates. they regenerate their tails so its not as big of a deal for them (although it is still best to keep them separate) but if you value your crested's tails you won't want to put them together while they are still young.

Wow, fiesty little guys! Maybe I'll just have to go with a few gargoyles in a separate colony if I don't see any perfect baby cresteds (who am I kidding, they're all perfect). I'm trying to get to the Mid Atlantic Reptile Show in September (you know you want to fly up Christie ;) ). Granted the most probable senario is that I end up with 3 -4 new cresties and 2 - 3 gargoyles... I cannot resist the lure of the baby gecko. I held out for a whole 4 months for my first four!!

yep i am breeding the cresteds with the intent of selling whichever ones i can bear to part with :) the gargoyles i just recently got and they are all still just babies but i'm sure that will one day turn into a breeding project as well.

Darn those guys are cute....why or why did I wander over here when I should be in bed? LOL
