I made the mistake of ordering weaned and pups only to find that both my snakes will eat pups at minimum.

Is there any way to attach two weaned rats and feed them as one?

I wouldn't even be concerned, it was just a snake in feeding mode at a completely appropriate time. Hungry snakes are usually waiting at the door ready to grab, this is why it's safest to feed in the enclosure and also why we use tongs. If he's in feed mode when he shouldn't be a squirt of water, tap with a hook or your hand on his side will probably be more than enough to break him out of it. I have snakes that come flying out of the enclosures, ones that hit food very fast and aggressive off tongs and some that will only grab dead food on their own terms very methodically. Some that are fussy. The poorer/slower feeders are the worst temperamentally at my house.

The snakes and myself got back on terms this evening. Albino was handled a lot as he pooped in his enclosure 30 minutes after I spot cleaned. He seems hungry (as he always does) but he just ate 2 pups 24hrs ago. He is all over his enclosure despite just being handled. I weighed him - 664g. He has gone from 450g to 664g in 5 weeks, 1 day. That seems excessive. Thoughts?

My snake is very gentle until I pre-scent the area. Once she smells food she is like a scaled ninja. Then once she eats she goes back to being a teddy bear until it's time to eat again. She really is the most relaxed snake I've ever kept until she smells dinner.

I've found that when they're growing snakes grow at an incredible rate. Like they're sucking up air and turning it into fat or something. It's just how it goes.
