KSB newb questions..

    Thank you, you've been really helpful :) I'm just paranoid, with her being my first snake and all. I do think that today will be my final day of fiddling with her enclosure though! Very excited to join the snake community.

    Don't worry, we all worry about our first snakes. I was a wreck when we got our first BP haha. Sand boas are really hardy little guys. As willing as you are to research and ask questions, I don't think you'll have any issues.

    I can't wait to see photos of your future baby!

    Sounds like you're on the right track. They're charming little chunky derp noodles. If you don't have a copy already, "The Sand Boa Book" by Warren Treacher is great (and he breeds beauuuuuutiful KSBs.

    If you've been told/read that KSBs don't climb, don't believe it! They can and will! If you're using an aquarium or tub, make sure the lid is latched, clipped, or otherwise secure.
