    Our water is safe to drink but because of the taste of it, I filter it with a Brita Pitcher filter. I thank everyone for their input.
    I take it then that the majority of people see no need to use Reptisafe, or even special types of water. That is what I was wondering and why I started the thread to see what other keepers thought and where doing. I appreciate everyone's input.

    Best way I know to keep mold down is to spray less. Anyway, IMO shedding time is the only time a ball python needs extra humidity.

    Any chemical added to kill mold is likely to kill the snake.
