If you have an RHP, you don't need a UTH or flexwatt. You can buy it from AP if you want but imo it's overkill. Either an RHP OR belly heat, don't need both. Now if you live where your house gets below 60F, then maybe it would be a good idea to have both lol.

I'm also interested in the T8 set-up. I had an extensive conversation with Bob about the RHP and he was pretty clear I wouldn't need an UTH as the RHP would do just fine. He also suggested not bothering with the divider even though I'm buying an 8 month old BP as long as I provide it with plenty of hides the snake should be happy while it grows according to him.

Re: What enclosure for a 3 foot ball python?
Ok, so I will plan on going with the RBI 80 watts RHP. Thank you guys!!

Ps. came to find my ball python was wheezing today. I almost had a panic attack as I wanted to get him to the vet and I had to get to work. Ended up having my dad bring him to the vet, he's okay now, had a respiratory infection. I think it might have happened when I tried to boost the humidity in his current tank by misting. The vet said it may have been due to the fact that he was outside when we found him. Got shots and medication for him. sighhhhhhh of relief.

    Thanks again!!!
