Yeah, mine still closes ok thank god lol. I switched to AP cages. They are freakin awesome. Sturdy, very well built and all the corners are rounded and smooth plus they offer tons of options. And for the lazy like me, they make them pretty much plug and play ready lol with recessed LED lighting and cut and wired up flexwatt although I think Rich at RBI will wire up flexwatt too if you order it.

Haha, yeah that hook is a little overkill right now, but I like it. I do have a smaller one that was made by someone locally that I tend to use more often. I lost it for a bit during the moving process and only found it after I bought a new one.

There's a pretty good gap forming at the corners, and in the center I actually have to push up on the cage to get the doors to open. Mine is also about four years old. It's good to know that it's not uncommon, but I'm wondering if I can add my own support in to help counteract that. I really like her cage, but I may look into different brands when I get more snakes. Now that I have more room, I'm thinking about a new addition.

    Hi Shann,

Yeah, I'm maxed out now with 4 snakes. I think you were around when I got my female coastal. I added my last snake back in September. WALLACE, is a Dwarf x SD reticulated python. He's a tiger with a few more genetic treats.

Sauzo and some other pals here scored similar retics around the same time or a bit before.

I think boas will always be on the favorite list and still wonder if I should have gone with a Suri BCC, but I think Wallace was the right choice.

Congrats and getting married and I hope the acting is going well.

Fig needs some new summer shots.

I like to post still but mostly for chatting purposes. I get tired of posting long informative threads and then having to repost a year or two later for the same thing. I love to help and think the boards are great for that, but its OK to have new folks post up and help.

Pictures and chatting with folks that have the same snakes I have or WANT is what I like now.

Your cage looks great and Figment is one of my favorite boas!

You have to do another spring/summer photos session.

Take a piece of 1.5"-2" PVC pipe and cut it 1/4 longer than the Measurement of the enclosures (floor to ceiling)....wedge it in there to support & stop the saging.. Also will help the door situation too. P
