The issues aren't always with the snakes, though you're right, you do have to give the animals a very thorough inspection to make sure you're not buying a vet bill. Sometimes sellers aren't comfortable with shipping so they're dealing only with a local market. Low number of buyers = low price.

Sometimes the seller needs to move the critters fast, usually when a landlord finds them and threatens eviction. We picked up an adult male purple albino retic from a local guy in that situation for less than half of the price of a hatchling. He still stops over for "conjugal visits" sometimes.

Yeah rly... and someone in here said that Pied was only worth $200? Its a high white pied that's a solid 600 grams or so, think he's worth a little more than that lmao. That pastel and Pin are pushing 900+ and they are girls.

Males are cheaper and yeah maybe $200 is a little cheap but i'm sure you could find one for $300. There are pied females on FaunaClassifieds right now for anywhere from $400-500 and that's for females about 600g. I mean here is my 2014 high white pied female. I scored her for $200 when she was a 12" 90g worm because she was labeled a problem feeder and a biter. She turned out to be a pig for food and a sweetie and now is over 1k gram lol. Now there are stuff like albino pieds and dh pieds etc that are going for like $1800 and stuff but unless you can prove it with yours, its just a pied. Don't get me wrong, you got a good find but that isn't the reason for my post now lol.

That second one looks very pastel enchi to me. Great pickups either way
