Only down side is it take longer than silicone to dry. I let it air dry for about 4-5 days.
And no, Animal Plastics cages are 1/2" CDPVC. They are really nice. They smooth all the edges. They are heavier than some other PVC cages but they are solid. They also offer tons of customization like flush mounted LEDs and they route the wiring through a channel in the top so everything is clean. Here is a picture of the LED. They offer white, blue or red. I got the whites installed in all my cages. They also will install RHPs for you if you have RBI or Pro Products drop ship it to them. I also got shelves installed as you can see. I like how Gio sets his cages up for the naturalistic look but my gals and guy get out a couple times a week so for me, it's easier to just keep their cages minimalist for cleaning.
Thanks for the info Sauzo, I'll definitely go with PVC (or some kind of PVC) next time. I realized how important being light is this time, since I'm an actual useless weakling. I actually was choosing between an AP cage or this local cage builder, but since AP sends their cage in panels that need to be assembled, I went with the local dude who has it fully assembled. I should've done more research on material!

I've never dealt with that type of enclosures, but I can say that I picked up my 48x24x12 APCage(PVC) very easily after it was assembled and put it 6 feet high.
I wouldn't recommend dealing with melamine then LOL, the literal heaviest thing. And I'll be using PVC from now on. :O

Thanks! Lol, a lot of people think she's either scary looking or unattractive, but I love her big dog face.

Don't be scared by having to assemble the AP cages - they include instructions, and all the holes are pre-drilled. No worse than IKEA furniture. [emoji3]
