Oh man, gorgeous snake. The alien heads do look like hearts ^_^ where do you find auctions? I'd be super interested in trying to win more snakes

Auctions on Facebook. I follow Ben Siegel, Loxahatchee (nice score), and freedom breeder.

    Congrats.
    Pretty noodle.

I LOVE on-line auctions. I check out a fish one every week end. Only bought something once, but they are an adrenaline rush even when just looking.

Recently got interested in fancy/sport pigeons, and was getting frustrated by the costs of getting started. Assuming they even shipped, the bigger inventory sites I found wanted $75 or more per bird, with a min. order of 4 (or more), and about $85 shipping. Those lump sum figures are not currently in my budget for a hobby.

Fortunately, I found a few auctions. On line auctions seem to be a handy way for the smaller breeders to unload a few extras. Bidding for mated pairs might start at around $50, and shipping is around $65. You get multiple photos of the individual birds for purchase, the breeder's PH# for questions, and customer ratings with commentary. Good way to establish a relationship with a reputable small breeder, and ditch the flippers. Are these all old guys?? Almost no one gives an e-mail, and they ALL seem to want a money order!

    Anyway, enjoy the new addition!

Awesome luck! I've won a few auctions, I think I used to keep an eye on a few, not even sure if they do them anymore.

and this big girl was labeled as "Axanthic Het Caramel
    "

but visually has more in common with those listed in the "BlackHead" category than those in "Axanthic
    "
