Thanks so much everyone for the advice! HES HOME! :) We left his enclosure uncovered for the 3 days and he came back and was just chilling out on top of one of his hides! (and yes we checked EVERYWHERE in the enclosure, substrate, hides, etc- there's absolutely no possible way he could've been in there the whole time). It's a little cold in our house but he seems to be totally okay- no signs of RI or anything, hes back to hiding all day and roaming around at night. He was out Friday-Sunday...we've only had him for 9 days now. After this adventure, what do you guys think about handling/feeding from now?

He hasn't eaten since two weeks ago at the petstore (refused twice), and we haven't handled him hardly at all (trying to let him get used to his new home without stressing him out).

Since he's probably a little, stressed from his excursion, I'd wait a week. Just leave him totally alone, (obviously making sure he has water and temps are ok.) Try feeding in a week. If he eats, wait another 24 hours before handling him.

this thread is probably old but do not worry I have lost two before, the first one turned up in a week on top of my computer keyboard, the other one took 2 months and i found her on top of my heating pad. We searched the whole house twice we cleared every cupboard wardrobe turned every couch upside down. cleared the whole pantry still no sign of them. So my point is don't worry too much just like others said just make sure doors leading outside are blocked and keep a close eye on other pets.

    Hope this helps

LOL didn't read all the comments, well he's home goodluck
