    Ok good, just keep uth off until you get thermostat. The red bulb will keep your snake warm until then. Also to take temps of the red bulb you want to put the thermometer probe on the hottest spot on the ground and keep it around 90, if it is to hot you can dim it with a lamp dimmer or raise the dome off the cage a little. After you have the thermostat and you start using your uth again you may not need the red bulb anymore. If your cool side temp is higher than 75 you won't need the red bulb, if it is lower then 75 you can put the red light on the cool side and dim it until it is around 80.
