    From our experience, we have found this forum to be endlessly informative and the members to be stellar. You should love it here and congratulations on your new baby!

    Did the wife hook you in?! I tend to be a bad influence on the fiance.. We started with one pretty BEL and then.. Well.. Now we have 11. Lol!!

    Pit makes a very good point, always make sure that you take the temp with no substrate (directly over the UTH) to ensure that your snake does not sustain any belly burns (they look like pink patches on the underside of the ball python) as they do sometimes tend to burrow beneathe the substrate.

    If your enclosure is 80° on top of the substrate at the warmest point in the tank, you may actually have it regulated correctly beneath the substrate, but always check to make sure!
