@cchardwick That remnds me of something my black pastel does. A lot of the time if I'm going through the cages she'll poke her head out and say hello. She also seems to follow me around sometimes. Last night I left her on my bed while I was refilling her water. When I went to the bathroom she slithered over to that side of the bed instead of going to hide and when I came back in she followed me to her tub. She's just a hatchling, so she may just be seeking my warmth instead of my company, but it was awfully cute.

Her name is Delilah and she was feeling a bit shy this morning.

@treaux Thanks! I love the clouded pattern pieds get. It's why I prefer the low whites. My snakes are mostly juveniles now, but in a few years I'll have some nice pied babies. I'd love to breed BELs sometime in the future, maybe after I get my own house. There's not enough room in my tiny apartment!

Looking forward to seeing your little white noodles.

I will say after having some baby Woma pythons now since Tuesday. They are much more inquisitive of not only their surroundings but any movement in the room their enclosures are in. As friendly as our BP's can be they seem content to be left alone. The womas seem to look for things to stimulate them. An example would be if any of our BP's were poking their head our of their hide and saw movement in the room, they usually just move back inside out of sight. The womas do exactly the opposite, they will come out to see what is going on.
