I've gotta question.... How do you have the heat setup in there. Is it attached to the floor or what?

Awww come on franky, they're just so fasicinating....

They run the range of colors, they don't need any extra heat, eat bugs, live in small spaces, change the substrate once a year...etc. Seriously, at this time, all 24 tarantulas take up about the same space as Issa's 20 gal long.

Honestly, the only reason I have not purchased a rank is becuase I'm going on vacation (hopefully! cross your fingers!) in a couple weeks and I don't want it to possibly show up when I'm going. After the rack..it's time for more balls. I'm also going to cut back on my crested geckos.

The tubs are about 19x12x6 somthing like that. The rack is heated with 3" flexwatt weaved in and out of the levels for belly heat... I just got in 2 sterilite 1960 racks in today with no heat, now I have to put 11" strips on eack level and wire it in parellel.. woooohooo my kinda job..lol Ill snap some pics of the parellel wiring, for the ones that wanted to see how it is done...

PS thise spiders are the scariest things I have even seen. WHat cresteds you getting rid of????

At the moment, I'm only getting rid of Peaches.

I am acutally giving her away to another local herper who is a vet tech. She won't touch bugs, and seems to be easily stressed. I don't think she's sick, but I really hate to take her to the local reptile vet I was using. From what I've seen, the geckos really don't seem to be to handle the stress of a vet visit at all. I may reduce the crested down to a couple of adult pairs, or eventually sell them all off. The geckos are the most work out of my entire collection.
