    You actually can go to the pet store and ask for a bag of dirty substrate that they have their mice living in. Just a bag of stuff that has mice poop and scent in it. And then dump the dirty substrate in a box, get your live rat and let him run around/roll around in it to scent it with mouse scent. And then offer to your snake.

    I don't know if the trick worked or if she was so hungry she didn't even care but she ate her first small/medium rat! :D
    I hope she will continue taking them that easily :)
