    Here's a good update on everyone :)

None of the girls had any parasites, and neither did Sneezy. The new girls that I got a little more than a month ago didn't have anything either. The new beebee had absolutely nothing, and I am very happy. Such exciting fecals... I should have just done one on everyone(with everyone being all of the animals in my house), and I might have found a little something, LoL. Sorry, that's the vet tech in me.

That's wonderful news!!! Of course it's kinda boring looking at the slide. Nothing, nothing, oh.... more nothing. You can hope for a nice case of coccidia tomorrow!! ;)

LoL, or a nice case of tapes... Nummay!

If you are easily grossed out, DON'T read the remaining post... :)

I worked at the animal shelter here, and a few days ago we dewormed a puppy with the normal pyrantel pamoate dewormer we have. About a day later, I was cleaning out the kennels in the afternoon and, lo and behold, what did I find. I thought the puppy had swallowed a piece of string, but realized that he couldn't have gotten it anywhere since he is in a run. I looked a little closer and it was a massive load of adult roundworms.... Bleh! At least they weren't still alive. Gave me the willies, LoL.

Oh that IS pretty gross. Makes you think twice before having spagetti for dinner :bleh: I'm so proud you didn't clean em up and put them in some formaldehyde! ;) :D lol

I DID think about it... I said to myself, "Hey! The school might want these, they are nice and fresh and should preserve well..." How much of a DORK am I?? LOL! It's so sad...

I should have brought the collander so I could have washed them off! Ok, I know, I'm gross. :)

I did that once while working as a vet tech. The formaldehyde was under the sink, and there's always an extra jar laying around. You never know when something like that will come in handy. If it makes you feel any better, it definitely would've crossed my mind too!

My stepsister just graduated from vet school and she had a horses head and legs buried so she could get the bones. They weren't quite ready to come out of the ground when she graduated so they are now in my parents backyard. They drove like 4 hours with half decomposed horse parts in their trunk! Now there's family dedication! LOL!
