It may be inconvenient but it could be a serious problem if she is egg bound. hopefully she isn't
in which case you will only be out your time, gas, and a small vet bill but you have the peace of mind that she is ok

Might help if I gave some more info on this breeding season for her. She has been throwing me curve balls from the start. She was the first if my snakes to start showing signs of gravidity. She appeared to ovulate early in the year, which was well after she had gone off feed, then all of a sudden she stoped showing any sign of gravidity. She still locked up regularly and stayed off feed. I wasn't real certain that I was going to get a clutch from her this year until about a month ago when she suddenly started bulking up again. I thought it was ovulation and that I would get another shed before she dropped, and then I got the single dud. She has had me scratching my head for months, and it hasn't stopped yet

Sounds like complications all around. Vet is the best plan.

I'm pretty good at predicting all my other girls cycles, but this girl just won't cooperate.

Thanks for the advise. She doesn't seem to be in pain, it actually almost looks like she is trying to hold them in, laying her body across her tell just below the bottom egg, but she appears relaxed for the most part.
