You want to have a strong market support the market stop complaining about pricing or keep saying people are in it for the money.
Take pride, value your animals, don't bash people that put in hard work.
Shop the animal, shop the breeder, price comes last.

I have had tons of hobbies over the years - horses, sailing, hunting/shooting - and they are not self-supporting activities. They are fun, and participating in them is cheaper than paying a therapist, but I don't kid myself that they are revenue generators because they are not.
