First you need to get an idea of your budget after that you need to determine if you want to work towards long term projects that might take time to pay off or if you want instant gratification and produce something right away.
After that go here http://www.worldofballpythons.com/morphs/ look at the combos and decide what YOU want to produce, don't let other people's taste dictate you you work with or own.

no, that pairing can't produce pied. in order to produce a pied, both parents must be at least het.

If you have any questions let me know! :) in order to produce a butter genetic stripe you can do it in a few ways. One way is to breed a butter het stripe male or female to a het stripe or stripe of the opposite sex. To produce a visual recessive no matter what, both parents must be at least het (heterozygous) for the recessive gene meaning they carry the gene but they do not show it visually. Hope that helps a little :)
